WHAT ARE THE ADDRESSES OF THE WEDDING CEREMONY AND RECEPTION VENUES?

The ceremony will take place at Boconnoc Church and the reception will be hosted at Boconnoc House - both situated on the Boconnoc Estate, Lostwithiel, Cornwall

WHAT IS THE EASIEST WAY TO GET TO AND FROM YOUR WEDDING VENUE(S)?

Once in Cornwall, the easiest way to get around is by car or by taxi as the venue is in a remote location with no bus service. We have shared recommended local taxi services in the ‘Getting Here’ tab. Boconnoc is a 21 mins / 9 mile taxi from Bodmin Parkway Station (with trains from London Paddington) and all local taxi firms know the best routes to the Estate.

IS THERE PARKING ONSITE?

Yes, there is free parking on the estate and EV charging points available.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR YOUR WEDDING?

Formal wedding attire.

AM I ALLOWED TO BRING A PLUS ONE?

Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate additional plus ones, unless your invite suggests otherwise. Please reach out to us if you have any questions.

AM I ALLOWED TO BRING MY CHILDREN?

As much as we would love to have children there, only children of our close family will be attending.

CAN I ATTEND THE FRIDAY EVENING IF I’M NOT STAYING ON THE ESTATE?

Absolutely, if your travel and accommodation plans allow, we would love to see you the night before. Please RSVP accordingly so we know your movements.

COULD YOU GIVE ME A LINK TO YOUR WEDDING REGISTRY?

We appreciate the time and effort in travelling to and staying in Cornwall to celebrate with us, so no need for any further gifts.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE AT YOUR WEDDING CEREMONY?

The ceremony will start promptly at 1pm. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before so you can take your seats in good time. There will be refreshments at Boconnoc Stable Yard prior to entering the church.

WHAT TIME WILL YOUR WEDDING RECEPTION END?

The party will finish at midnight and the venue team will be on taxi duty to ensure everyone is collected safely for anyone not staying on site.

WILL THERE BE MEAL OPTIONS FOR GUESTS WITH DIETARY RESTRICTIONS OR ALLERGIES?

Yes, please note your preferences through the RSVP tab and message us with any more details you need to share.

IS THE VENUE ACCESSIBLE?

The Church and House are both wheelchair accessible, please contact us with any specific needs.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE IN CORNWALL DURING MAY?

Cornwall weather is unpredictable and can see all 4 seasons in a single day. We hope for sun and blue skies… but please pack a jacket just in case. Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors.

AM I ALLOWED TO TAKE PHOTOS OR VIDEOS AT YOUR WEDDING?

Of course, and please do share them with us afterwards!
